One of our most popular, regular activities is our soft play session held at Cottenham Community Centre bi-weekly on Fridays during term.
These sessions are so popular that we have recently purchased additional equipment to add to our exciting, versatile play structure.
Soft play equipment provides a safe and colourful environment for babies and children to practice movement and communication skills. Learning to share and interact with other children are particular skills that come out of attending soft play sessions. Physical play has all kinds of health benefits to your child (and you!), such as building strong organs, bones and muscles and improving balance and coordination.
This is a fantastic environment for parents and carers too, providing the opportunity to engage with other families in the local community, make connections and gain confidence when playing and interacting with your child.
Refreshments can be purchased from the cafe in the adjoining room and parents may bring them back to the soft play room. Please take care with hot beverages around children and we respectfully request children do not take drinks or snacks onto the equipment.
£2 per child over 1
£1 per child under 1 (babies in arms with siblings are free)
£3 per family
£5 annual membership for the academic year (must be purchased for Health & Safety reasons)
We are urgently looking for volunteers to help with running these sessions. If you would be interested, please get in touch.
Please see our Events page for session dates.
